Maintain the performance and reliability of building systems across Allied’s portfolio. As a Building Operator, you will perform a broad range of building operations and maintenance duties to ensure our properties operate efficiently, safely and to a high standard of physical quality.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Technical Services, you will collaborate across our organization to address both the planned and unplanned operational needs of our buildings and support the continued performanc…Building Operations & Maintenance: Monitor, adjust, and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire safety systems. Inspect and repair equipment such as boilers, heat pumps, air conditioning units and lighting to keep everything running efficiently.
Tenant Support : Respond promptly to tenant requests and work orders, keeping them updated on progress and ensuring issues are resolved effectively.
Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance, including filter an…Experience: At least 2 years in building operations, maintenance or similar roles, with experience in HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
Knowledge: Awareness of Provincial Building Code & Regulations, Canadian Electrical Code, Provincial Fire Code and Electrical Safety Authority.
Skills: Strong problem-solving, accountability and customer service skills.
